NBC’s “Dracula” is getting some fresh victims from other genre shows.

According to TVLine, Nonso Anozie and Katie McGrath have signed on for the ten episode first season of “Dracula.” Anozie will play Dracula’s famous minion, R.M. Renfield who in this incarnation is also a “fiercely loyal confidante of Dracula’s alter ego, Alan Grayson.” Renfield is also described as a “stabilizing force” who helps Dracula maintain his false identity in London while seeking revenge on those who wronged him.

McGrath will portray Lucy Westenra, a socialite and the best friend of Mina Murray before she inevitably falls prey to Dracula’s advances.

Anozie is best known in America for his role as Xaro Xhoan Daxos in “Game of Thrones” Season 2, as well as his feature film roles in The Grey and Conan the Barbarian. McGrath previously played Morgana on the BBC series, “Merlin” in addition to roles in “The Tudors” and the TV miniseries “Labyrinth.”

McGrath will reunite with “The Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who will play Dracula on this series. Jessica De Gouw was recently cast as Mina after a stint on “Arrow” as the Huntress.

There is currently no premiere date set for “Dracula,” but the recent casting news suggests that the series will begin filming within a few months.
