50 Cent may be coming to Fox.

According to a report on Deadline, rapper turned actor, 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) is currently negotiating a deal with Fox for an animated comedy written by Carl Jones (“The Boondocks”) that will loosely adapt 50 Cent’s life.

While the project is currently untitled, it is said to follow “a mischievous but well-meaning boy who often tangles with his eccentric family and neighborhood.” Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV have already lined up behind the project, with Randall Emmett, Brian Grazer, Andrew Jameson and Francie Calfo set to executive produce the project alongside Jones and 50 Cent.

It’s unclear if 50 Cent will provide his voice or likeness for the proposed series, but it seems likely that he will. The bigger question is where to place this series on Fox. The Sunday night Animation Domination block is already filled and the upcoming Saturday night Animation Domination High Def. block favors short form, 15 minute series.

This isn’t the first time that 50 Cent has used his life to create fiction. His 2005 acting debut in Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ was also heavily influenced by his personal history. 50 Cent has gone on to appear in Righteous KillDead Man RunningFreelancers and the upcoming films, The Tomb, Last Vegas and The Pursuit.
