New York Post Spills Beans On Dan Marino Love Child

One of the greatest QBs of all-time isn't even immune to some dirty laundry.

The New York Post released a story Thursday that rocked the football world — and no, it wasn't surrounding Ray Lewis and his deer antler juice.

Dan Marino, the NFL Hall-of-Famer who owns over 61,000 career passing yards, has been married to the same woman for 28 years. As it turns out, he also has a 'love child' with a former CBS Sports production assistant.

According to the article, Marino had an affair and impregnated Donna Savattere at some point during 2004 while they were working together at CBS in Manhattan. Savattere then gave birth to their daughter in June 2005 before Marino paid her millions of dollars to stay quiet, and not to mention, live comfortably.

CBS said in a statement Thursday, "Dan has said all there is to say on this matter, and will be in his usual role on our broadcast Super Bowl Sunday."

Marino actually admitted to the situation, but didn't want to disclose details:

“This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then,” he reportedly told The Post in a written statement. “We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.”

Marino has six children with his current wife of 28 years. He will be in the broadcast booth previewing the Super Bowl on Sunday in New Orleans between the 49ers and Ravens.

I will say; isn't it so appropriate this news were to break just three days before the Super Bowl?
