The war between the Autobots and Decepticons was over. A new fledgling Cybertronian society was trying to establish itself after four million years of strife and mistrust. Elections were set to happen, and it seemed Starscream was well-positioned to smooth-talk his way into the leadership position he'd always wanted but could never quite earn.
But then Megatron returned, and everything has gone to hell.
Decepticons began rioting in the streets, storming the prison to free their battered idol from Autobot captivity. Starscream's political position has completely eroded thanks to his association with them, and he's just learned that the Decepticons he thought he'd had killed due to the liability they posed are all alive – and the Autobot he made that deal with has apparently betrayed him, as well as his entire cause.
There was no greater hater of Decepticons than Prowl, to the point where his cold logic manifested itself in ruthless ways, including the political assassination of the Decepticon Ratbat. Now, it seems both Prowl and his secret killer Arcee have joined the ranks of their most hated enemies. Can it be true, or is there more than meets the eye here?
