Jeremy Hotz has been a busy guy – in addition to performing his popular (and whiny) stand-up routine at venues across Canada, he has also been making time to film guest appearances on hit TV shows like "Call Me Fitz."

He told The Chronicle Herald that he played “the worst social worker you could ever possibly imagine. Then he turns out to be struggling with coming out of the closet. So there’s lots of levels there. Plus, he has a new kid, at 50. Nice of them to look at me and go, ‘You look 50.’ I guess I”m so ugly, I play older now.” The HBO Canada show is led by another Canadian, Jason Priestley.

Hotz's Magical MIsery Tour was announced last November and kicked off on February 19th in St. John's, Newfoundland. It will wrap up at the end of March in Kelowna, BC, and it is taking him to stages across the country from coast to coast (and it has been getting rave reviews). Visit the Just For Laughs' website for more info on tour dates and ticket info.
