Double Fine has released the first trailer for their newly christened point ‘n’ click adventure game, Broken Age. If your memory isn’t what it used to be, Broken Age is the adventure game Double Fine used Kickstarter to fund, which not only surpassed its goal almost immediately, but shattered some Kickstarter records in the process at the time of publishing.

The story of Broken Age spans time and space, focusing on a girl who is about to be sacrificed to a monster and a boy on lonely spaceship. Somehow the two connect and, as Double Fine puts it, “adventure ensues.”

The Kickstarter pledge period has long been over, but Double Fine created a “Slacker Backer” program for those who missed the boat the first time around. $30 will net you the game, the behind-the-scenes documentary series, access to the private forums to chat about the title and view exclusive concept art, and a beta key when that becomes available. Not a bad deal if you ask us.
