New Concept Art, Dev Diary for Bungie’s ‘Destiny’

The drip-feed of non-gameplay assets continues for Bungie’s next.

I hate that it’s come to this. Activision and developer Bungie are yet to show us actual gameplay of their upcoming massive-multiplayer online shooter, Destiny, but they have no problem drip-feeding us new concept art and developer diaries. Typically I set my phasers to ignore for this kind of stuff, but for Bungie’s next blockbuster game, I just can’t. So if you’re wondering, yes, I do kind of hate myself too for feeding into the hype.

At the Game Developers Conference, Bungie released a slew of new concept images of Destiny, which you can look at below. And at the head of this post you can watch a video detailing character development.

Maybe in the near future we’ll actually see Destiny up and running. To loosely paraphrase Ian Malcolm of Jurassic Park, “Ah, now eventually you do plan to show gameplay for your game, right? Hello?”
