The popular Showcase series "Haven" has begun production on season 4 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The new 13-episode series, which premieres this fall, features mainstays Emily Rose ("Harry's Law"), Lucas Bryant ("Cracked," "Beauty and the Beast"), and Eric Balfour ("Christine"), along with newcomer Colin Ferguson ("Eureka"), who will take on the role of William, a handsome mysterious stranger whose secret agenda leads him to Audrey (played by Rose).

In Season 4 of "Haven," the storyline picks up six months after the devastating events of the Season 3 cliffhanger in which the town was pummeled by a violent meteor storm. Audrey and Duke (played by Balfour) have vanished into thin air, leaving an injured Nathan (Bryant) marooned in the town of Haven.

The show is based loosely on the novella "The Colorado Kid" from renowned author Stephen King. It is currently broadcast in Australia, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, South Africa, and the UK.

The new season of "Haven" will premiere in Canada in October on Showcase.
