True Blood Season 5 Confessional

“True Blood” Season 5 was released this week on Blu-ray and DVD from HBO. And as part of the Blu-ray special features, several members of the Vampire Authority give confessionals to the camera in-character.

Our exclusive clip finds the newly freed, Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) in the aftermath of a shared vision of Lilith (Jessica Clark) that led Russell, the Authority and even Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) to slaughter a bar full of humans in her name.

There is definitely some NSFW language in this clip, as Russell doesn’t hold back in his appraisal of Lilith’s body and what her appearance means to him.

The other Authority confessionals on the Blu-ray include Nora (Lucy Griffiths), Rosalyn Harris (Carolyn Hennesey), Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian), Kibwe (Peter Mensah) and Salome (Valentina Cervi). Other enhanced Blu-ray features include Flashback/Flash Forward to pivotal scenes, character bios and an “autopsy” of episode six by the cast and crew.

The DVD extras include five episodes with commentary by series creator, Alan Ball as well as cast members Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Denis O’Hare, Carrie Preston and more.

“True Blood” The Complete Fifth Season is currently out in stores everywhere.
