Calvin Harris recently uploaded a photo of himself to Instagram that revealed a significant change in his body shape since the Scottish producer/DJ first burst onto the scene.
Harris was announced as both the new body and face of Armani last year, and those who may have questioned the formerly pale and skinny hit-maker’s ability to pull off such a task will no doubt be silenced by his new look.
However, Harris’ tips for getting into shape don’t include one of those crash course celebrity diets we’re so used to hearing about, but rather cutting out alcohol and getting a decent night’s sleep.
“Staying in a gym routine while on the road is tricky,” Harris said. “But as long as you don’t drink, eat well, sleep enough and take one of those mad little ab rollers with you everywhere you’ll be good.”
So there you have it – as we expected, getting a body good enough to front the ad campaigns of one of the most major fashion houses in the world requires you to cut out everything enjoyable in your life, such as alcohol and staying up until 4am watching a series on Netflix. There’s no denying that Calvin Harris’ body transformation is admirable and shows a tremendous level of dedication, but we’ll stick to our Guinness and Fargo marathons, thanks.
