2. Magic Johnson

The Magic man was a 6’9 point guard who could play all five positions on the court. Magic Johnson in my humble opinion is the most talented player to ever lace up shoes ad step on an NBA floor. By now your wondering where LeBron and Kobe are on this list, well keep wondering. Both players could easily make the list in the years to come, but they haven’t earned it yet.

Magic has the championships to go along with his tremendous talent, he showed a great deal of vision and leadership while maintaining a high level performance. He was also very charismatic with a great smile to match his considerable abilities.

The reason he makes my top five is simply because of his unequalled play, and ability to carry his team through a great deal of adversity. I also include him for what might have been, I think he’s earned that. We all know that HIV cut his career short by untold years. Players like John Stockton are lucky that Magic hung it up when he did.
