After setting attendance and viewing records with last year's event, the ESPN X Games 16 are here! Are you ready to get rocked by some of the most extreme athletes in the game?

Staples Center and the L.A. Coliseum is set to host Saturday's X Games 16, which will feature 23 events and more than 200 athletes with an expected attendance of 150,000 fans. With so much to look forward to and so many living legends competing for your attention, we thought it would only be right to hook you up with Five Things To Catch At X Games 16

SHAUN WHITE

Shaun White's legendary journey is far from over, and fans on hand at Staples Center are gearing up to witness history from the Olympic hero. After switching from snow to skating and suffering an ankle injury last month while training, White is back to compete in both vert and vert best trick, giving him two chances to win his first X Games gold medal since 2007.

MOTO X SUPER X

Thrilling upgrades await for Supercross racers, as the new dirt course features large jumps, rollers and a whoops section that can spell trouble. Not only are standings based on order of finish, but the event is open to men and women as well. Last year’s champs are Josh Hansen and Ashley Fiolek, who stand to be dethroned by Nick Wey, Chris Blose, Justin Brayton, Elizabeth Bash, Tarah Gieger, Tatum Silk, Jacqueline Strong, Sherri Cruse, Jessica Patterson and more

MEGA RAMP

This section of the X Games is where the impossible becomes reality, and superstars shine their brightest. Danny Way, Bob Bournquist and Jake Brown are known for their domination of the Mega Ramp, as well as their brutal spills that threaten to end careers. What will skating's big Mega Ramp story be this year?

SuperRally

A twist on the ever-popular European rallycross style of sprint racing, four 600-horsepower cars will rub paint as they race on a dirt track inside the Coliseum. Saturday night marks the U.S. television debut for the sport! 12 drivers will do time-trial runs to determine which four will compete in the five-lap final race. The superrally winner will be decided by whichever of the four cars crosses the finish line first.

"SuperRally is a perfect fit for X Games and will bring all of the most extreme parts of motorsports into one event," said three-time X Games Rally medalist Tanner Foust. "There's door-to-door racing, sliding off road, jumps and the cars can do 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds! These are some of the fastest production-based racecars on the planet, and the thought of ripping them around the iconic columns of the Los Angeles Coliseum is simply over the top -- again, perfect for X Games."

BEST TRICK

Always a freak-fest of originality and mind-blowing antics, creative execution is the objective as riders take two jumps in this high-flying endeavor. Riders are judged on difficulty and precision. Keep an eye on Travis Pastrana, Paris Rosen, Blake Williams and Todd Potter this time around.
