AFC
The most muddled division as far as the playoffs is the AFC, as only Indianapolis and San Diego have their divisions locked up. Cincinnati and New England are but one win away from making the playoffs that much clearer. The Wild Card is a mess at the moment with 9 teams vying for the two spots. A number of these teams face each other in the final two weeks so whoever ends up with the spots should deserve them.
CO Take: Indianapolis and San Diego look destined to meet in the AFC Championship game which is why I say it won't happen. One of those team, if not both, will falter in the second round. The wild card situation will come down to two 9-7 teams. My picks are Baltimore and the Steelers if they can win out.
NFC
With the Divisions set and even the Wild Cards all but locked up, the NFC is a lot less dramatic in the final two weeks. It will be interesting to see if the Giants can catch either the Packers or the Cowboys and who will be locking up the coveted first round byes.
CO Take: Outside of the mini wild card race, all eyes will be on Minnesota to see how they finish the season. With losing two of the last three, there appears to be some cracks appearing in their what once was airtight armor. For the wild Card, my take is that it's going to be the Packers and the Giants...yes, I said the Giants. I look for Dallas to do the December fold it's so famous for.
