In anticipation of the new film Marine 2 starring WWE superstar Ted DiBiase Jr, we have compiled a list of the Best Wrestlers of 2009.
1. CM Punk

Always ready with more than a few tricks up his sleeve, CM Punk is possibly the most unpredictable - and dangerous - wrestler on the list. Punk's use of MITB to defeat the Edge for the title, as well as his Breaking Point defeat of The Undertaker in a submission match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, puts him at the top of the heap. Hey, it doesn't matter how he gets there, the point is that he's there, right?
2. Chris Jericho

What a year Chris Jericho's had. He was kicked out of the WWE, allowed back in, won a 3-on-1 handicap match at WrestleMania, won at Backlash, won the Intercontinental title at Night of Extreme, won a tag team steel cage match on SmackDown! and won the Tag titles. What's in store for Jericho next year? Maybe he can get revenge for the Mickey Rourke knockout.
3. Randy Orton

He's been dealt some bruises, but the youngest WWE champion of all time handed 'em out just as strongly to the likes of John Cena, who he beat along with Triple H at the Night of Champions matchup this year. And hell, the guy won the 2009 Royal Rumble.
