Hits and Misses
I had a respectable week last week with my hits really hitting and only a surprising Denver performance spoiling my week. With a few weeks left, I'm hoping to finish the season with a bang.
RB Ricky Williams: 17 pts 115 yds, 1 td HIT
WR Miles Austin: 20 pts 7 rec 145 yds 1 td HIT
Bench Material
RB Knowshon Moreno: 15 107 total yds, 1 td MISS
WR Santanna Moss: 8 pts 4 rec 28 yds, 1 td WASH
Starts of the Week!
RB Chris Benson (vs DET): Benson returns to the starting lineup this week and should be highly motivated thanks to the pick up of Larry Johnson, who put up a 100 yard game last week in his first significant action since joining Cincy. Plus it's Detroit.
WR Wes Welker (at MIA): The Patriots will be out for blood this week after getting thoroughly whipped on Monday night football. Expect the offense to put up huge numbers and since Welker is Tom Brady's favorite target, he should benefit the most.
Other Notable Starts: QB Drew Brees (at WAS), RB Frank Gore (at SEA), WR Brandon Marshall (at KC)
RB Rock Cartwright (vs NO): I don't feel that Rock is going to have an especially bad game, I just had to work him in somewhere. The guy is named ROCK for Pete's sake, how could I not mention him at least once?
WR Calvin Johnson (vs CIN): Though I still steadfastly stick to my proclamation that the Bengals are overrated, they do have a sturdy defense this season and should easily handle Johnson and the Lions offense.
Other Notable Benches: QB Matt Hasselbeck (vs SF), RB Fred Jackson (vs NYJ), WR Santanna Moss (vs NO)
