A Fitting Tribute to Sir Bobby Robson.

This feature on the Sir Bobby Robson comes from our friends at DJMICK V2, the site filled with "All things Sexy and Cool".

Sir Bobby Robson is a legend. Fact. He was a class act.

The best England manager since Sir Alf in ‘66 he charmed his way through a domestic and international playing and managerial career that spanned over 50 years and took him, amongst other places to Fulham, West Brom and Ipswich, to Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona and ultimately back home again in the twilight of his career to enjoy some fog on the Tyne.

Now 2 of those clubs; Newcastle and Ipswich, have been given special dispensation to wear shirts commemorating his life when they meet next weekend. The Football League has given the two clubs, who were both managed by Sir Bobby, permission to wear the kits for the game at Portman Road. A lovely touch.

Then, and after the game, the shirts will be auctioned to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, the charity founded in his name to help fund cancer research.

Ipswich will also mark his contribution to the club by renaming the North Stand as the Sir Bobby Robson Stand.

Maybe Newcastle should do the same.

Sir Bobby Robson died in July aged 76.
