NFL Power 10

Getting you ready for the regular season.

With the pre-season almost over and the regular season set to begin, it's time to set the top teams in the league (as decided by a committee of one) in the first of this seasons NFL Power 12. The Power 12 will be an every two week event so be sure to check back to see if your team has cracked the elite of the league.

Pittsburgh Steelers: The Champs start off the season number one and it's a number one earned not just by a SuperBowl victory, but by what they bring back to field this season. The Steelers return 19 of 22 starters and have addressed needs at key areas with the return of punter Daniel Sepulveda from a season ending injury that kept him out last year and the addition (or soon to be) of explosive return man Stefan Logan. The defense is set to be even better this season with added depth at corner and the promotion of Lawrence Timmons to full time starter.

New England Patriots: The Patriots catapult back into contention talks with the return of future Hall of Fame Quarterback Tom Brady, who is coming off a season ending knee injury of a season ago. But the former Champs have to be concerned at both the depth of the quarterback position, having lost Matt Cassell to the Chiefs, and the holes in their defense.
