What if I told you there was a kid only 4'11", who is one of the leaders in assists in the nation?
What if I told you he also averages 12 points a game, meaning he's averaging a double-double per contest, all while getting straight As?
What if I told you that he's been doing all of this playing high school basketball, even though he's only 11 years old?
That's right, Julian Newman is a fifth grader and is absolutely putting on a show in Orlando Florida.
Newman is the starting point guard for Downey Christian School. He was moved up to the varsity team after scoring 91 points in three quarters during his middle-school contests. He was the assists leader for the state of Florida earlier this season and he's already been on Steve Harvey, Inside Edition and been picked up by an outlet in China. Although his video started going viral a couple months ago, it's doubled in views this week after a New York Times article ran just days ago.
Watch out LeBron.
