Kingsman Style: How to Dress Like a Spy
The second installation of the Kingsman series has us inspired to up our style game. While we may not need to live up to the same expectations of the elite secret agents from the movie, we are pretty thrilled to look the part (but just in our day to day lives.) The crew at the office will be expecting your standard business casual dark denim paired with a button up, and that makes upgrading your look all the more powerful.
Looking ruthlessly stylish is easy with the right materials, but where to start is always the question. We recommend building off of one staple piece, and ideally, it’s one that can be worn daily. A statement watch serves as this foundation, and fortunately the movie that represents power, intelligence and the best opportunity this year to root for the good guys, has teamed up with the premier timepiece maker.
In May, TAG Heuer announced its global partnership with MARV films and 20th Century Fox for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. In this unique collaboration, the type of accessories previously only admired in cinema come right off the screen and into your own collection.
The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Kingsman Special Edition Timepiece is an impressive accessory due to its technological resume. This watch has a functioning GPS, customizable dials, features Android-Wear 2.0 and is water resistant to 50 meters. To stealthily mix things up just like they do in the movies, it also comes with an additional second strap, in amazing orange calfskin, inspired by the iconic orange suit seen on screen. And in the event that you don’t want to share all the secrets of your new collector’s item, there is something just for the wearer.. Kingsman engraving on the case back that can only be inspected when the watch is, presumably, atop your nightstand that doubles as a secret gateway to an underground bunker.
With something so sleek keeping you on time, you must make sure the rest of your look is up to par. A slim suit jacket is necessary. We especially like the unexpected orange pattern atop a rich navy base like on the Super Skinny Suit Jacket by Asos. With this tailored jacket, try a simple white shirt underneath, and a skinny satin tie to finish it off. If a suit jacket isn’t in your day game, a premium knit sweater, like the Structured Sweater by Scotch & Soda, works as a great top layer. Complete the ensemble with some squared off frames or modernized aviator shades.
Whether you’re headed overseas or just to conference room B, know you’re dressed to kill, and sure to garner the attention of colleagues and protagonists alike.
