The 2010 MTV Movie Awards will debut three new categories this year and Crave Online readers are going to get a special advance look at one of the new catagories!
MTV and Crave Online are proud to unveil the five finalists for the new "Biggest Badass Star” award. The nominees are:
Who will take home the coveted Golden Popcorn? Will it be Rain, the musician turned "Ninja Assassin"? Or Angelina Jolie, who continues to be "Wanted" in "Salt"? Or perhaps it will be Channing Tatum, who reported for duty in "G.I. Joe;" or "Avatar" star Sam Worthington; or Chris Pine, who delivered an out of this world performance as Captain Kirk in "Star Trek."
This year's MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by Aziz Ansari ("Parks and Recreation") and will feature a live performance from Christina Aguilera from her new album, "Bionic."
Bradley Cooper, Miranda Cosgrove, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Vanessa Hudgens and Shaun White are all scheduled to appear as live presenters onstage.
Beginning on May 12, viewers will be able to visit MovieAwards.MTV.com and cast your vote in 13 categories until the ballots close on June 5!
The 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS will be broadcast LIVE from the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 6 at 9pm/Eastern, 8pm/Central.
