Fox 11 News in Los Angeles reported that Keifer Sutherland said "there will not be a 24 movie". The proposed film adaptation of the TV series 24 was rumored to start filming this year. Keifer was quoted as saying, "It's impossible to ask writers to work on the show and then come up with an amazing film we can shoot in the break between series." Sutherland did say  that a 24 film is a "definite possibility" but only after the show has ended.
