Someday, the massive cast of "American Horror Story" season 2 will stop growing. But that day is not today.
With production of the second season already underway, we still know very little about the new storyline except that it will take place during the '60s at an institute for the criminally insane; which is run by Jessica Lange's new character.
Months ago, "The Voice" judge and Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine was cast as one half of a duo referred to as "The Lovers." Now, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Jenna Dewan has been cast as Levine's lover in the show. But even their characters' names have yet to be revealed.
Last year, Dewan costarred in NBC's short lived series, "The Playboy Club." But she may be best known for her role as Nora Clark in Step Up as well as her appearances in The Grudge 2, Love Lies Bleeding, American Virgin and Setup.
The cast for "American Horror Story" season 2 is ridiculously huge, as Dewan and Levine join fellow newcomers Joseph Fiennes, James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny, Lizzie Brocheré, Britne Oldford, Mark Consuelos, Chris Zylka and Clea Duvall in addition to returning performers Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Zachary Quinto. However, the size of that cast also means that "American Horror Story" can dispatch some of its characters in gruesome ways every week and still have leftovers for the finale.
"American Horror Story" returns to FX this fall.
