After hundreds of bidders made their own bid to get on this new OLN series, the cast was announced for "Storage Wars Canada" and production on the show has begun.
Thirty-six half-hour episodes of the program have been ordered and filming has begun in Ontario. Six new bidders will be profiled on the Canadian reality series.
“OLN consistently delivers outrageous real life stories loaded with uncensored, unapologetic, and off-the-cuff characters,” said Claire Freeland, Director of Original Programming at Rogers Media. “In 'Storage Wars Canada,' viewers can expect to see a group of fiercely competitive players with distinct personalities, ready to battle it out for the next locker."
"Storage Wars" profiles professional bidders who are trying to get their hands on storage lockers that have been abandoned, repossessed, or forgotten. Sometimes the contents are boring but others times they hold some hidden treasures that can make their bidders a lot of money. The American version of the show (there are two) has been extremely popular, and now the program moves north of the border. Second-generation auctioneer Don Reinhart is joined by six fierce bidders, including: Roy Dirnbeck – “The Instigator”; Cindy Hayden and Rick Coffill – “The Veterans”; Ursula Stolf – “The Knock Out”; and father-and-son duo Paul and Bogart Kenny – “High Roller and The Kid.”
