It’s no secret that we are big 30 Rock fans around here. The casting trifecta of Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin combined with a great supporting cast and excellent writing is a win for us. We recently we able to talk to two people who are important components of what makes the show so great; Jack McBrayer ("Kenneth") and Robert Carlock (Executive Producer/Writer).
CraveOnline: Jack, I have a couple questions for you. Mostly, about the Kenneth webisodes I'm wondering if we're going to see that again for this season? How much you were involved with it.
Jack McBrayer: Well I don't know exactly what we're planning with our Internet content this year. I do know that I think they're trying to get maybe something with Griz and Dot Com. And maybe some little things with Jenna, Jane Krakowski's character, as well.
But since we really and truly just started back with the shooting and stuff I don't even know if our, you know, producers have decided what they want to do yet.
CraveOnline: Okay. And another quick one, wearing the polyester all day, have you ever had any flame related incidents. We want to know that you are safe.
Jack McBrayer: Well fortunately it melts away; it doesn't adhere to the skin it just melts and drips away.
We then switched over to Executive Producer/Writer, Robert Carlock:
CraveOnline: What kind of arc are we going to see for Liz Lemon this year?
Robert Carlock: Yeah, you know, we did sort of a lot of as you said we touch on a lot of personal stuff for people last year and we're kind of starting off the season getting back into the office stuff and continuing where she left off last year with this sort of little potential brush with fame with this sketch that she had that turns into a book and maybe she tries to turn into - with Jack's help - into a TV show with this deal breakers thing.
And kind of asking the questions of, yeah, always asking the question with Liz of what is next for her and can she take that next step and both with personal life and with work. And so the beginning of the season concentrating on work with that and then hopefully getting back into her quest for elusive happiness in general.
CraveOnline: Are we going to be seeing more of the writer guys more this season or it's about the same?
Robert Carlock: Yeah, you know, one of the great things about this show and the blessing and the curse is that we have so many characters and so many different interactions between characters that work so well. And one of the fun things last year was like doing that story with Frank and Jack about their moms and their missing dads and their sort of shared them finding common ground was a really fun thing and letting a Bigfoot bring them closer together.
And so, yeah, absolutely because we love those guys and think they're a really fun foil. And they're always a fun foil against Jenna which we use a lot with the two of them Jenna against those guys kind of squaring off a lot of times. There's some fun stuff in the Halloween episode which is the third one where they butt heads a bit over trying to sneak into gay Halloween which all the hot girls are hanging out so.

CraveOnline: With Battlestar Galactica ending I was wondering if you guys kind of like lost a small well of jokes...
Robert Carlock: I know. We've got - we already have a reference and it's sad.
CraveOnline: I know. I don't know what we're going to do.
Robert Carlock: We'll just keep saying (frack).
