The first actual interview I got was a newcomer to the show, Brea Grant. You will meet her in the very first episode, as a speed demon who's only slowed down by Hiro's time freezing.

Crave Online: Are you a fan of The Flash?
Brea Grant: I am a fan of The Flash, thanks for asking. I did a lot of Flash reading when I was studying for the role.
Crave Online: What did you want to take from him and how did you want to be different?
Brea Grant: The Flash is a superhero so it's a little different for me because I'm playing a villain this season as you saw.
Crave Online: Is that clear that you're a villain?
Brea Grant: Well, she's ruining Hiro's life. She's running around making things really difficult so she's definitely starting off as sort of a more evil character I think.
Crave Online: Are you actually in that special effect somewhere?
Brea Grant: Yeah, I actually run. I run a lot on the show. It's one, two, three and then run and then I run across the screen. So it's actually me mixed with CGI.
Crave Online: And they capture your outline somehow?
Brea Grant: You know, they did a big CGI thing where I had to stand on this platform in my underwear and it was really weird, and then I had to turn around and they took a lot of photos. That was how they did that. I have no idea besides that. I'm not a computer person.
Crave Online: What was it like fighting Masi?
Brea Grant: You know, Masi's a tough fighter. I mean, in a real fight, I'd probably take him down but no, it's fun. He's a good nemesis I think.
Crave Online: What more will we learn about her this season?
Brea Grant: You're going to learn a lot about her. You're going to learn about what she's doing there and why she steals what she steals. You're going to learn a lot about her past even. You're going to learn about why she is who she is. It's going to be interesting. I can't tell you any more than that.
This red carpet was the first time I've ever gotten to interview James Kyson Lee, who has been a Heroes staple since the beginning as Ando. Before we got onto Heroes, I had to clear up some personal business with him.

Crave Online: James, I think we dated the same girl once.
James Kyson Lee: [Confirms name] Noooo. When?
Crave Online: About this time last year.
James Kyson Lee: Crazy. How do you know [Girl's Name]?
Crave Online: I met at a party. She only said James from Heroes, but who else could that be?
James Kyson Lee: Oh my God. Oh wow. That's so funny, dude. She's a cool chick. We've been friends for a while. [Well played, James]
Crave Online: So you had to lay low last year while Hiro was in the past. Are you back in action this year?
James Kyson Lee: This season, right from the start, we're off and running. Ando and Hiro are back together and we're up to our usual shenanigans so it's going to be fun. We sort of go on this little scavenger hunt, hunt down this very important piece of information that is linked to everyone's strengths.
Crave Online: What do you think of the possibility that Ando could get super powers of his own?
James Kyson Lee: You have to watch and see but I think right from the start, you will get a glimpse of him in a way that you've never see before. I think he's really on a personal journey this year to find his own wings. Whether that happens or not, we will see.
Crave Online: Why is the future always dark and bad?
James Kyson Lee: I think that's why we have to try so hard in the present to try to change things. It wouldn't be fun if it was all peachy and nice, we go to the future and it's like in the Bahamas, everyone's sipping mojitos.
Crave Online: Are you ready for more action scenes?
James Kyson Lee: I am, I am. This season, I feel like I'm in really good shape and just ready for some action. We're still only 10 episodes in but I've gotten to do some fun stuff. Hopefully there'll be more in the second half of the season.
Crave Online: Had you been impatient hanging on for stuff to happen?
James Kyson Lee: No, because I respect the show and I respect the writers. I know that they have a lot of things planned in their mind. If they need to take the time to get there, then that's their own right. I really love and just respect the writing and the writers and the producers on our show. We're in good hands. I trust them.
Crave Online: It didn't take long for trouble to start this season.
James Kyson Lee: It's great. I think that's the fun about our show is that we don't waste any time. We get going right away and there's a lot of action packed into every episode. You know us. I think what's fun about Ando and Hiro's storyline is that they just love adventure and they love to go on this journey together and get themselves into a lot of fun and shenanigans and it's always exciting.
Last year, Dania Ramirez was the new girl on Heroes. With her black tears bringing a plague, she didn't want her power. This season begins with Mohinder making a discovery about her blood.

Dania Ramirez: My character, Maya, this season is really cool because you're going to get a payoff as to why she was even introduced right from the first episode. You're going to see how she changes the course of life for one of the characters in particular but also how she kind of contributes to the entire volume of villain. And she's a lot sexier this season. You get to see her more as a woman. Right from the season premiere you'll see what I'm talking about. We added a little fire to Heroes.
Crave Online: Can we expect tensions to mount with Mohinder?
Dania Ramirez: You can absolutely expect more than tensions to mount between me and Mohinder. Let's just say people get attracted to people under really intense situations and I think that's what's happening with us.
Crave Online: I expected conflict after what he did in the premiere.
Dania Ramirez: There's absolutely going to be conflict but there's also going to be making up after the conflict.
Crave Online: What do you get to do this year?
Dania Ramirez: Season three, she stops crying. She's a lot more in control of her power this season. She's a lot more in control as a woman and she's not as gullible. I think she's been through a lot and you finally get to meet her as a real human being. It's not so much about what her power is. It's about where she's at in her life. She has a romance, a really sexy, raw and real romance with Mohinder and you'll get to see right from the premiere episode what I'm talking about.
Crave Online: How has it been to play the character who doesn't want her power?
Dania Ramirez: Well, she has a horrific ability. She kills people and she has to cry while she does it. So absolutely, you got to see a lot more of her as far as how gullible she was because of her power last season and this season, you'll see. How she wanted to get rid of her power is going to change the course of life not only for one of the characters, but how she's going to contribute to the entire season called Villains.
Crave Online: Will we see maybe a silver lining to her power?
Dania Ramirez: Absolutely. Absolutely without a doubt. You'll see. I don’t even have to tell you too much about it. I think not only Maya, but this season is going to be super interesting.
Jimmy Jean-Louis is another Heroes first for me. Perhaps they didn't have him do much press because The Haitian rarely speaks. Seems like things are looking up for the actor in Season Three.

Crave Online: Will much be revealed about the Haitian in Season Three?
Jimmy Jean-Louis: Yes. A lot more than we've seen so far. We will be traveling back to Haiti where he will have to take care of some family business. Some other heroes will join him as well.
Crave Online: What's his home life like?
Jimmy Jean-Louis: Well, we don't reveal that part of it.
Crave Online: Since Volume Three is called Villains, will the Haitian turn out to be a Villain?
Jimmy Jean-Louis: Well, we still don't know where he stands and this is a show where villains become heroes and vice versa. The Haitian is so unpredictable that you don't know where he's going to stand, so I don't know yet.
Crave Online: Will we learn his name?
Jimmy Jean-Louis: I don't know yet. I think we will learn his name but I don't know what episode exactly it happens in the third season. So far he doesn't have a name yet but I know that he will have a name in the future.
Crave Online: Will you get more dialogue?
Jimmy Jean-Louis: Yes, yes, I've already got a lot more dialogue in the first part of the third season. He speaks quite a bit actually.
Spoiler alert: Malcolm McDowell is back. But then if you've read this far, you've already been spoiled. Sorry. They must have wanted it out though if they had him at the premiere, and since I saw the premiere episode early, we could discuss Linderman's return in more detail.

Crave Online: I know you were sad to be killed off the first time so how great is it to be back?
Malcolm McDowell: I was only booked for three but it was such a great character that I thought they'd for sure bring me back but they didn't in season two. But I'm kind of glad now because season two was aborted because of the strike so I'm glad I waited for season three. It's great.
Crave Online: What happened, did he revive himself?
Malcolm McDowell: Well, I am a healer of course but no, I come back first off, when you see me, actually his conscience or spirit because I'm not seen by anyone except Nathan Petrelli. Which is interesting, and then I am. So I don't know, it's very confusing.
Crave Online: Will it get into the issue of who do you decide to heal and who don't you?
Malcolm McDowell: No, that's too on the nose. I think it's great when it's very abstract. You never know. Seriously, do you ever know what's going on? I don't.
Crave Online: Then no one could die. Theoretically Linderman could bring everyone back.
Malcolm McDowell: Theoretically, that's true. The ones that don't come back are the ones that are disagreeable. So now you know.
Crave Online: Will you be a regular this year?
Malcolm McDowell: No, I'm in the first seven of eight.
Crave Online: Would it bee too obvious if Linderman is a Villain?
Malcolm McDowell: Yeah. He's not the man he once was.
Crave Online: Have you wrapped all your Heroes work?
Malcolm McDowell: I'm in the first seven of eight so there's another three after. So I don't know, they could call me and say, "Are you free and come back."
Crave Online: Was it comfortable to slip back into Linderman's shoes?
Malcolm McDowell: It was actually. I rather enjoyed it because the other actors are really quite special. I work a lot with Adrian Pasdar who is such a terrific actor. Nice guy as well.
Crave Online: Are you working with anyone new since last time you were on?
Malcolm McDowell: Yes, Brea and Cristine.
Crave Online: Brea's cool. We just talked to her.
Malcolm McDowell: She's great. I recruit her.
Crave Online: Will you be doing more Halloweens?
Malcolm McDowell: That's possible. You would think.
Crave Online: Do you have more ideas for Loomis?
Malcolm McDowell: Well, no. I've got to wait for them to come with a script and then I'll read it.
It shouldn't be considered a spoiler that Adrian Pasdar is back as Nathan Petrelli. He blew up in season one. Season two only shot him with bullets. It'll be the hows and whys that create suspense.

Crave Online: What can we expect from Season Three?
Adrian Pasdar: Well, that's a fairly broad question. There's going to be a lot of decisions he has to make as an individual, not as a hero or a villain this year. Personal ones. That's going to be where the challenge lies. It's not just a choice between good and evil. You have to choose between your mom and dad.
Crave Online: Will we see more flying?
Adrian Pasdar: Yeah, there's plenty flying scenes. I don't think he's as reluctant to embrace where his powers may take him. He's probably a little more eager than some people are to exploit their power.
Crave Online: Nathan died in both season finales so far. Shouldn't he get a pass this year?
Adrian Pasdar: Well, that never seems to happen.
Crave Online: Will we see another new Nathan after the latest death?
Adrian Pasdar: Well, I think dying will change you. Dying will do that.
Crave Online: Did you know who ended up having shot Nathan when you filmed the finale last year?
Adrian Pasdar: No, we didn’t know.
Crave Online: How did you feel about the reveal in the premiere?
Adrian Pasdar: It's great. I think it's a really interesting thing. You have to remember on Heroes, nobody's who they appear to be.
Crave Online: Well, it retroactively changes last year's story.
Adrian Pasdar: Yeah, but it might not be what you think even still.
Crave Online: I still think he deserves a pass.
Adrian Pasdar: Thank you, I'm going to bring that up with the producers if I can get out of having to die again this year.
Crave Online: We're glad you're back.
Adrian Pasdar: Me too.
