Next year, HBO will delve into the realms of fantasy with "Game of Thrones," an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's popular novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire."
"Game of Thrones" takes place in a medieval world called Westeros in which magic exists and seasons can span decades, while political alliances, assassinations and military aspirations threaten to engulf the Seven Kingdoms into war. "Game of Thrones" will adapt the first novel in Martin's series across ten episodes.
The cast includes Sean Bean as Eddard "Ned" Stark, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark, Rory McCann as Sandor "The Hound" Clegane, Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister and Mark Addy as King Robert Baratheon.
HBO has recently released a second teaser trailer, which you can see below:
Additionally, HBO has also unveiled a behind-the-scenes video with additional footage as well as interviews with Martin and "Game of Thrones" executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
