Rodrigo Santoro is set to join the cast of "Lost" when production resumes for Season Three.
One of Brazil's most talented and famous young actors, Santoro was most recently seen in the films Love Actually and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. He has also been featured for the past two years as the mystery man, opposite Nicole Kidman, in the Baz Luhrmann-directed commercial for Chanel. His Brazilian films include Carandiru, Behind the Sun and Brainstorm.
Santoro has won eight Best Actor awards in Brazil, including the first ever award for Best Actor from the Brazilian Academy of Arts and Film for Brainstorm. He also appeared opposite Helen Mirren and Anne Bancroft in the Showtime film, "The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone." He will soon be seen in the feature film 300.
"Lost" stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Mr. Eko, Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Henry Gale, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie and Terry OQuinn as Locke.
