On Sunday, January 29, HBO will officially launch "Luck," the new drama from "Deadwood" creator David Milch and director Michael Mann.
In the series, Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman stars as Chester “Ace” Bernstein, a man who has just served three years in federal prison who is eager to get back into the world of horse racing, even if he has to use his driver Gus Demitriou (Dennis Farina) as a front. While chronicling the surrounding players of the horse track (including some of the shadier elements) "Luck" features a very impressive cast including Nick Nolte, Jill Hennessy, John Ortiz, Richard Kind, Kevin Dunn, Ritchie Coster, Jason Gedrick, Tom Payne, Kerry Condon, Ian Hart and Gary Stevens.
With the launch of the series just over a week away, HBO has released a full length trailer for the first season which offers a tantalizing glimpse of what's ahead at the horse track.
And in a second video, Mann and Milch take you behind-the-scenes of "Luck" in an Invitation to the Set; where they expand upon the new series alongside Nolte, Hennessy, Ortiz, Kind, Dunn, Coster, Gedrick and Payne.
Don't miss the season premiere of "Luck" on Sunday, January 29, only on HBO!
