‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 5 Teaser Trailer

Jax Teller is setting himself up for a fall.

Last season on "Sons of Anarchy," Jax Teller ( Charlie Hunnam) reluctantly decided to stay in Charming and assume control of the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club in order to save his friends even if it cost him his family with Tara (Maggie Siff). Although Tara ultimately stood by Jax, that doesn't mean that their problems are over.

Yahoo TV has posted the first teaser trailer from the upcoming fifth season of "Sons of Anarchy" in which Jax leads his club through a desert in a dreamlike vision. Both Tara and Jax's mother, Gemma (Katey Sagal) appear on the road and cause Jax to make an unfortunate stop… which his estranged step-father, Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman) seems to darkly enjoy.

 

 
 
While Jax's apparent demise is likely just a nightmare, he'll have a lot to deal with this season. Jimmy Smits is joining the cast to play Neron “Nero” Padilla, a Latino gangbanger who will become Jax's new mentor. "Lost" veteran Harold Perrineau will play Damon Pope, a dangerous gangster out to get his revenge on SAMCRO, with Billy Brown as his right hand man, August Marks. Former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale will also appear as "a high-priced desirable escort" named Emma Jean.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 5 rolls out in September on FX.
