After a long break between seasons, "Doctor Who" will finally return for its seventh season this Saturday, September 1 on BBC America.
To celebrate the new season, BBC is releasing a new five part "Doctor Who" web series called "Pond Life;" which will focus on Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and her husband, Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) as we get a glimpse of what their life is like when they aren't traveling with everyone's favorite Time Lord through time and space. "Pond Life" will also bridge the gap between the last "Doctor Who" Christmas special and the upcoming season.
Chris Chibnall wrote the five part "Pond Life" web series, which was directed by Saul Metzstein. Each new episode will be released daily by the BBC; and we'll be updating this post as they become available. In the meantime, check out "Pond Life" episode 1, as the Doctor (Matt Smith) shares a taste of his adventures without his faithful companions.

And in part 2 of "Pond Life," we see what happens when the Doctor pops in on the Ponds… a little too unexpectedly.

One month later, the Ponds find another strange visitor in their home… and it isn't the Doctor this time. Welcome to "Pond Life" part 3.

In part 4, the Ponds attempt to get used to their new house guest, as the Doctor explains how he came to be there.

And in the final installment of "Pond Life," the Ponds' relationship takes a turn for the worse and the Doctor seems to be unsure of how to address it.
