Citytv has launched a new app for Androids that includes primetime content and is available for free download from the Google Play Store – they are the first Canadian broadcaster to launch a station-branded mobile app for Android.

The City Video Mobile App for Android includes on-demand availability of prime-time content, featuring full-length episodes of hit series, including shows like "How I Met Your Mother," "2 Broke Girls," "Modern Family," and "Revenge," which are all available as next day post-broadcasts. Users can also view behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and webisodes, as well as share top video picks, flag favourites, and keep track of previously viewed videos – all on-demand.
A leader in multiplatform offerings, Citytv offers full episodes and exciting extras from hit programming on Citytv.com, available next day post-broadcast. Fans can also catch up on their favourite series on Rogers on Demand, Rogers Anyplace TV, and with the free Citytv Video App for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch available on iTunes Canada.
Citytv’s premium content is now also a available on the City Video Mobile App for Android available at the Google Play Store.
