Fox Releases New ‘Axe Cop’ Teaser Video

Are you ready for President Axe Cop?

The debut of “Axe Cop” on Fox may be over seven months away, but the network is already building towards the premiere.

Fox has unveiled a new “Ask Axe Cop” video in which Ethan and Malachai Nicolle’s title character addresses how he would handle things if he was elected President. As in the promo video from October, Axe Cop is apparently voiced by “Parks and Recreation” star Nick Offerman.

The video does a good job of capturing the comedic insanity of the Nicolle brothers’ “Axe Cop” comics. There was even an “Axe Cop: President of the World” miniseries published last year by Dark Horse; which may have inspired this video.

Megan Mullally (“Breaking In”), Patton Oswalt, Peter Serafinowicz and Ken Marino have been confirmed as co-starring in “Axe Cop,” with guest turns from Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks.

“Axe Cop” will kick off Fox’s Animation Domination High-Def block on Saturday, July 27 for the the first of six 15 minute episodes that will comprise the first season.
