Hell DC owns Jim Lee (they house his Wildstorm imprint and have even worked those characters into the DCU)now more than when he was just an artist working for Marvel drawing the X-Men and Punisher
That's weird considering that Malibu ended up being bought by Marvel. And what the heck were they talking about Malibu for anyway, three of those guys went to image. That last guy Rob Liefeld would eventually sue Image because (wait for it) he didn't like what the other creators were doing with his characters. Silvestri, Jim Lee (who wasn't featured) all bitched about how Marvel and DC did things only to find out the hard way why. Most of those guys (with the exception of Larson) ended up back with one company or the other.
